In high-volume, high-speed production environments, a single robot may not be sufficient to meet throughput demands. In such cases, a multirobot system distributes the workload across multiple independent stations, each equipped with a SIPRO Delta robot with up to 5 axes. The SIAX XPC CNC can coordinate up to six robots in parallel, ensuring precision, synchronization, and operational flexibility.

Distributed Architecture for Uninterrupted Production

Each robot is managed via a dedicated EtherCAT network, functioning as an independent fieldbus. This architecture ensures:

Multi-Belt Tracking

Each robot can be configured to operate on one or more conveyor belts, in both forward and reverse flow. The system supports multi-point pick-and-place tracking, enabling efficient handling of products in continuous motion. This is made possible by the interpolated tracking function, natively supported by both the hardware and SIPRO’s robotic software.

Flexible Machine Vision

Multi-camera support enables two configurations:

● A single camera at the line entrance for centralized acquisition

● Multiple dedicated cameras, each aligned with a specific robot, for distributed vision tailored to application needs

Beyond Pick-and-Place: On-the-Fly Processing

The SIAX XPC CNC enables complex operations to be performed directly on moving parts, integrating:

● G-code programs for custom interpolations

● Synchronized motion with the moving object

● Smooth trajectory control, even during pick-up

This capability extends the Delta robot’s role far beyond traditional pick-and-place,transforming it into a mobile processing station.
