Flying cut

Description

Sipro has made with its numerical controls several flying cut applications in the steel industry and pipe cutting.

Sipro has developed all the basic functions needed for the flying cut application, leaving to PLC the management of the automation, thus giving maximum flexibility for customer’s customization of the machine.

The controls currently used in the flying cut are the SIAX A-EVO with integrated touch screen 7” display for the less demanding machines and the SIAX M-EVO/T control with user interface on Android terminal 10” or 12” (HMIS10 Android and HMIS12 Android) for the more complex. The brushless motors and drives are usually connected through Ethercat.
